The following is Blog number fifty and it is entitled: There is Forever One True God and God Controls Time!

There Is Forever
One True God and God Controls Time

First of all dear friends one must embrace a clear and evident truth: there are most certainly things happenings and processes not given to man in their fullness. As such one must declare with some certainty about some things: “I don’t know!” This statement for a true believer that there is a God is also hopefully followed by the declarative: “I have faith and hope!” In this fashion we contend, a human being comes to know God and seeks to be in fellowship with God; for in this there is transformative and productive living on the earth. It is by our own engagement with Jesus Christ over a matter of nearly sixty years that faith has become knowing and events have become evidence of proof.
Without equivocation based on knowledge and interaction we proclaim that “There is One True God!” We declare that God seeks our soul unto perfection and truth! We declare that there are three distinct aspects to the human creature and they are the spirit, the soul and the physical body. We contend that there are also three distinct revelations of the One True God: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit which is the essence of God.
We contend that when the human creature accepts that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, their spirit which is who humans really are, becomes perfect! The spirit of the human being is life that which was breathed into him at creation and that spirit is the essence of God and the image of God. We contend that the Bible is Holy and is literal truth, not allegory but God’s Holy Word.
The Holy Bible contains deep truth for the times in which it was first spoken; it is for revelation in later days when meanings are evermore applicable. In these latter days understanding is just as critical as it was in the time of beginnings; for continued human existence, perhaps even more critical.
We contend, though metaphor and parables language is often used to make clear understanding of God’s revealed truth, these forms of language always point to literal truths. Jesus Christ as a “shepherd” is a metaphor, while the expression of Jesus as the Light of the world” is an expression of literal truth. As a shepherd of mankind Jesus offers eternal life and protection as the shepherd offers guidance and protection for his flock.
As it is written: “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” (John 12:40: KJV) For the true believer Jesus offers a source of enlightenment knowledge and understanding of how to live in a world that is full of darkness: being interpreted evil. We contend that one who studies the Words of Jesus and lives life in accordance with the principles established by Jesus; then their life on a dangerous and volatile earth becomes clearer and productive.
Now unto more complicated matters, i.e. the world being created in six days. Though we accept the account of Moses as literal truth, we also contend that this is a matter of God communicating unto Moses in a manner that Moses could understand. Creation did not occur in a matter of 144 hours as the human being understands time. It would be lunatic to believe such and we contend a useless application of faith. To argue that this is God’s intention for human understanding is foolishness. To demand that the earth and humanity is only six thousand years old is not only senseless it is not declarative by Holy Scripture!
As it is written: “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” 2Peter 3:8 :NIV) In this language of the Apostle Peter there is clear evidence of the principle of time and human’s lack of understanding time as it relates to the things of God and heaven! Clearly, Peter did not think that the world was only 6,000 years old. If he did he was wrong! Peter was suggesting that as it relates to God time ought to be in the thought of man irrelevant beyond the daily focus of living rightly. Peter’s point is that in God all is a blink of an eye and yet God is a patient God. Seeking to give every man the time that they need to work things out unto their salvation and His satisfaction with them!
Therefore as we have progressed unto an age of science let science have its good use and purpose. The purpose of science is not to refute faith but rather confirm truth. Science is discovery and all discoveries begin with faith. Not the notion of this is truth, but the speculation that this is truth. Faith is what exists in the absence of known truth.
Now, science seeks to turn speculation into actual truth by providing concrete evidence of truth.  The expression: “Let me prove it to you” first began with faith not with the evidence of proof. Someone thought or found out something before they could show it to someone else. Without the evidence of actual proof there is only faith on which that someone can rely. Columbus had faith that the earth was not flat; while Ferdinand Magellan proved it by actually being the first explorer to sail completely around the earth
So we see that faith begins the process of discovery; for when one first has an idea there was also some form of doubt about that idea. Still, someone has enough faith that the idea is actually what they believe it to be that the thirst for discovery begins and it begins by faith. For the believer it is actually faith that is the evidence of proof at the beginning of the discovery which takes place over the process of time!
When one has proof then one has knowing; for then one possesses the truth. In the meantime one dwells in faith. As it is written: “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” (Hebrews 11:1-3 : New Living Translation)
So while we accept that time involves matters of limited human understanding we still consider time in the things of God and heaven. We know that time is everyday running out for the earth and those who inhabit the earth. We trust by faith that those who believe in the Son of a Living God are availed of time everlasting!
The sum of the matter is this: the entire matter of faith dwells within the complexities of God; for there are complexities in the understanding of the things of God and heaven. Six days of creation in God’s time may compute to something entirely different as humans understand and experience time. By faith we accept the communicated language of six days as being literal and by faith we understand it as truth.
We leave it to God and the curiosity of man for faith to be challenged and understanding to be unfolded over the process of time. There are things of faith that human understanding and what science offers as proofs that will always come into variance.
God has not chosen to reveal the matter of His time; for believers we must never surrender faith to science, but rather let us embrace the reality that God controls time and God is in science.
The Holy Word of the One True God remains infallible with the telling of the “Six Days” account. How long the six days and rising of the sun and the going down of the moon were accounted in hours, we really should say: “I just don’t know.” For you see when God said let there be light do we actually know in science how long it took for the earth to actually travel around the sun? Is the value of twenty-four hours different now than it was originally? Is it possible that originally the distance of earth was so far from the sun that a combination of seconds did not equate to a minute and did twenty-four hours once have a different value? What was time really like when the WORD spoke the universe into existence? Well, we may think we know and we probably just don’t really know. YET!

The following is Blog number forty-nine and it is entitled: What Kind of God Would You Want?

WHAT KIND OF GOD WOULD YOU WANT?

[The following is taken from the book BECOME PERFECT 2007© and the “I” and “me” have been replaced with “we” and “our”]

“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise  from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold. I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.” (Luke 24:45-51 KJV)

"To know, in soul and spirit, that these accounts of Christ Jesus, as the only begotten Son of God, are real life “Gospel” leaves us in a state of total awe. The privilege to be His servant, to have experienced His visitation, to have audibly heard His voice, to know His presence causes a sense of personal responsibility beyond measure and description. Frankly, it leaves one with a certain measure of fear; as we imagine that it should!
But more than this, should this not also cause one to possess a desire for excellence in their own conduct in servitude unto their Lord? We believe Christ our Lord, as truth, and profoundly love the entire reality, as a matter of faith. For, this Spirit of “knowing” is presented to us as the gift of strong faith from our Lord Jesus Christ. Why would we not desire to walk, exactly as He walked, this plantation in honor and righteous service to His cause? Is this not the call? We are simply dumbfounded by those who just can’t get it, or who would not even want to get it. We love, with all that is within us those who are in unbelief. But for those who walk as so called “servants,” causing a taint on the Gospel, we pray the Lord either fix them or remove them from this charge.
In our judgment, the accounts of Christ throughout the New Testament are certainly aligned with those capabilities that should exist within God concepts and attributes. A “One True God,” having a Son, who can handle being crucified unto death on a cross; then go to hell for three days – come out of that grave and walk around with His friends for forty days, certainly exhibits the power that one wants from God. To have as an explanation that it was done, so that by believing it as truth and devoting one’s life to His continuing work, and in return become immortal – it’s a “no brainer” decision for us. What about you?
What would you expect from a “One True God?” What kind of God would you want? Love revealed as the sacrificial lamb, on our behalf, believing in us that we can achieve His Will for this life with His help, makes great sense to us. That He has such high expectations of us and that He will show us how to achieve them, now this is wonderful; this works for us!
Reasonableness, while we grow toward God’s expectations, reflected in His forgiveness of our sin when, we make terrible mistakes or have rebelled at times; that sounds like God! And it sounds like an incredible example of being a good Father too! Laughing at us when we do stuff that is just plain old stupid and even funny; we think that our God does just that, shaking His head in great wonder. Training us to do better with trials that to us are incredibly painful, and helping us to bear them with the knowledge of His presence. Endowing us with power to overcome in the darkness of this plantation!
By His Son’s obedience to a sinless life, an undeserved death, and a resurrection unto life Christ has overcome the world to give human beings the power to become perfect, and to be just like Him. This is the only type of God that we would want to serve or be associated with, and there is no other “god concept,” worthy like the LORD God, who sacrificed His only begotten Son for the human beings trapped on plantation earth.
The very instance that the human being says to Jesus Christ and means it in their spirit: “Yes I accept you as my Lord and my Savior forever” their spirit; their true self becomes perfect. For the rest of their life on this plantation their spirit, their true self: will wage war against their soul to force their physical body to do what is right in the sight of an Almighty God. This is the amazing journey of the human being who desires to serve the Lord. The beneficiary is the earth; yea, our temporary home but also mankind’s prison and plantation!
What a wonderful kind of God it is who constructs a plan of freedom on a terrestrial world; for His creation to be able to make their own choices. There is one choice in particular that produces an amazing result; this is the choice of faith and service. What is the benefit? One's spirit is again set free; one day it shall return to an eternal home beyond the captivity of this earth.

The following is Blog number forty-eight and is part of our ongoing Racial Reconciliation in America Series. It is entitled: The Root Cause of our Divisions – The Church of America – Part Five Capitalism and the Church.

RACIAL RECONCILIATION
The Root Cause of Our Divisions
The Church of America – Part Five
Capitalism and the Church

[The following is taken from the book BECOME PERFECT 2007©]

“With all of our many, many flaws at our core, the United States wants to be a Christian nation; that is our only hope of survival. Unfortunately, seeds of greed and moral corruption have been sowed throughout our history. Our divisions that have never been reconciled; particularly, Slavery will be this nation’s downfall unless it is addressed. As a preacher, it is very difficult as, we do heartily embrace capitalism: yet, it is not in line with the construct of how Christianity is supposed to function.
As it is written: “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.” (Acts 2:41-45, KJV).
Now, this is a description of the Church and not the State of course; within America, God has produced a country, which allows the believer in Jesus Christ to flourish unto the great achievement of their vision and dreams given by an Almighty God.
America is a nation among nations allowing true freedom of worship of what ever belief system that one has. It is likely an arrogant statement putting it in this fashion, but only in America is there an opportunity for belief competition to take place freely; then let the belief best preferred by the individual win the day! That is not to suggest that in America there is not some ugliness from time to time that comes from the misguided and hate ridden. Of course we endure this.
We are yet free to worship as we please; perhaps, that is one of the reasons why the Christian Faith must be so diligent to demonstrate the likeness of Jesus Christ. As we prove Christ Jesus, we make an open show of all other beliefs as to which is truly in service to a God who loves all of His human creation!
And conversely, if we by our lack of demonstrating Jesus Christ allow ourselves to be outperformed: in comity, goodwill, love, forgiveness, truth and mercy then what does this represent to our nation of different beliefs and the world who looks from without? One must not allow one’s Christian Faith to become polluted by that which our Father would consider pagan; nor can one disgrace God by not keeping His Son’s precepts of; “loving thy neighbor.” Whatever the belief system of that neighbor might be, for if he is an enemy he is yet to be loved; therefore, convert him by the love and power of Jesus Christ demonstrated through us the believer.
Our freely associated religious, spiritual, and ethnic diversity is truly the great difference between America and the world. Think not for a second that Jehovah God cannot win the day; His only issue is one of using human beings called Christians and Jews to represent His Will. Therefore, let us exemplify Jesus Christ, for the sake of God’s most holy and righteous name.
You know beloved, this is the wonderful nature of America; it is a blessing of God, in order that we can be a blessing to the citizens of this country and to other nations of people. The Church of America, that is so allowed to flourish, should be like the Book of Acts Church; so should Christian Churches be throughout the plantation. For every Church is intended to be an organizational fellowship with an economic vision that is communal in nature; this means, obviously, that it is not an individualistic construct!
Such a Church structure is meant to be internally self-sustaining, without government dependence and absolutely apolitical. It is a spiritual construct based on collective sharing that eliminates a mind and conscience of greed, for there should be no need for such. The Church is meant to be the organization that solves the material and spiritual needs of its community; the Church is a community! However, the Church of America is not a nation State!
People are to go to work and people are to abundantly care for the Church community with a portion of the proceeds of our labor. Can you imagine what would happen if the Catholic Church and all other property rich Churches sold all of their assets to help the poor in their charge, worshiping in tents and houses rather than huge cathedrals that are such sources of pride and opulence? What a dream that is! A very foolish dream certainly. But poverty would be less, hunger would likely not exist; maybe the cause of crime would evaporate altogether. What a dreamer, but you get our drift!
It is not the government who is responsible for the needy in society; it is the Church that is so responsible! The government’s responsibility is to protect the Church; those who do not belong to it and all who pay their taxes. Children of the Church should be: educated by the Church, the elderly should be cared for by the Church; widows and orphans should be ministered to by the Church; the poor should be given a leg up by the Church; good health care should be at the hands of the Church, and spiritual food should be provided by the Church.
But, of course, this cannot happen; for like governments and most economic players on this plantation, the Church is corrupted by greed, division, pride and the thirst for power. There are tears in the eyes of Peter this day whose: “rock of affirmation” on which the Church was built; as he watches the Church engaged in: conquest, control and the amassing of resources just as aggressively as the natural world of business. Rather, than dispensing such to those in need!

The truth hurts; only in truth are we truly free! Of course, the devil is watching and laughing at the Church; as his strategy of greed and pride continues to produce evil fruit, the sorrow of the ungodly. There, will always be consequences! The failure of the Church is the need for the government. Sad but true.

Capitalism and the Church

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.” (Book of Acts Chapter 4 verse 32 : KJV)

[The following is taken from the book BECOME PERFECT 2007©]

"Capitalism is an economic system in which we have successfully participated and endorse. This is an economic system not a governing activity or philosophy of the communal whole; for Capitalism is about the individual. Capitalism is rooted in the exercise of resource competitiveness. While it demands, a “survival of the fittest” methodology. That is what puts Capitalism at variance with the Christian Faith. For in the Faith “making a profit” is not the principal goal. When Capitalism spills over into the psyche of man it causes a nature of individualism so profound that folk are always seeking to profit from all things including relationships. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence comes from this thought. Profit!
Capitalism, is, very prone to oligarchy: which is the control of government and society, by the wealthy few rather than by one person one vote of the many. Oligarchy is a class system where the distribution of resources is anything but equal. Capitalism as an individualistic economic based system should be expected to be one that is ruled by: conquest, control, and the amassing of resources.
He who has control of resources, controls the social construct; particularly, that of law, justice and the social order. The very nature of Capitalism is one focused on the individual and self-reliance, rather than on community.
Not all Oligarchs are unworthy; for in the early years of our industrial era in America we produced some extraordinary human beings! Great Capitalist: such as the first Rockefeller, who was for certain an Oligarch; he also built communities while making a great deal of capital. He also built church houses!
He was incredibly special and from an era, certainly different than today, it would seem! Rockefeller invested in the making of things; today, in America we make very few things that can be touched. It is hard to touch capital! Yet, capital is absolutely made!
The very nature of being a Capitalist is: to make your money using other people’s resources, i.e., their sweat, ideas, money and will. However, We contend that, this can only happen if one possesses an extraordinary gift that is rooted in vision and creative power. Though many might say of some Capitalists, that they don’t make anything, posing this as a negative, to this we say maybe, maybe not.
For, they certainly do make something and it is called money; on this plantation it is capital that rules societies. By controlling, dominating, or strongly influencing the individual human will, capitalists are able to get more than what they pay for, which is the strategy of profit making. The goal is to ensure that with every dollar one spends: significantly more than a dollar comes back. Even better it is to make a dollar without even letting go of a dollar.
This is called: “good business” and it works if your only goal is making a profit! We are not talking about earned income, in the sense that an individual worker earns a paycheck; it is rather, money that comes from investing, in the sweat of workers, who then, make money for the capitalist and themselves. Therefore, such money of the capitalist is known as: “unearned income,” because it comes from their return on the investments that they have made. Not from their labor in the factory or the fields!
In America today the unfairness is in a tax code that makes the income of the Capitalist more important; thus treated differently than the hard laborer in the fields and the factory. The Capitalist is taxed less by rate and as such the Government coffers are laid bare; as the rich get richer, while the value of the field hands dollar is worth less. Wars go unpaid for and the debt grows! As this book is being written that is the state of America. There is no money coming in from the wealthy and wars are being fought with debt that will end up being paid for by the regular folk. Our streets airports and school houses crumble while our soldiers are dying in nation building efforts overseas. Scandalous!
Resource allocation is what defines the values of a society as it relates to freedoms of the individual. What different forms of government and economic systems have, as interesting discovery, is the degree to which they do or do not allow the Lord God to be worshiped. Some allow it and some do not, freely, allow it!
We contend, that the actual reason that communism and socialism are failed systems, is because they are typically atheistic, or they prevent the free and open worship of Jesus Christ. And this is what enables the government to control thought and freewill of the proletariat, the people! It is easier to govern a people ignorant of total freedom, which is what Christ offers.
Had the Soviet Union exercised, across all dominions, Christianity as openly, aggressively and pervasively as existed in the United States it would, likely, be in existence, as a whole group of territories to this very day! Rather, than being split into a variety of independent nations.
We contend that as the Christian Faith is allowed to flourish in any nation, that nation will fare well and better than most. Systems come and go but God is ever present. If China continues on the path of becoming a Christian nation, China will become the most powerful nation on this plantation; China is on track to become just that."

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.” (Book of Acts Chapter 4 verse 32 : KJV)

[The following is taken from the book BECOME PERFECT 2007©]

[Capitalism is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as: “an economic system characterized by private or corporation ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision rather than by state control, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly in a free market.” A capitalist is “a person who has capital esp. invested or to be invested in business <spare money is called capital its owner is a capitalist G.B.Shaw> Webster’s Dictionary.]
[Democracy is defined in Webster’s Dictionary in this fashion: “democracy noun \di-ˈmä-krÉ™-sÄ“\ : a form of government in which people choose leaders by voting : a country ruled by democracy : an organization or situation in which everyone is treated equally and has equal rights”]
[Socialism is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as “any of various theories or social and political movements advocating or aiming at collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and control of the distribution of goods. 2a: a system or condition of society or group living in which there is no private property <trace the remains of pure socialism that marked the first phase of the Christian community W.E.H. Lecky>.]
[Communism is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as: “a theory advocating elimination of private ownership of property, or capital b: a system or condition real or imagined in which goods are owned commonly rather than privately and are available as needed to each one in a unified group sometimes limited, sometimes inclusive, and often composed of members living and working together : a similar system preventing amassing of privately owned goods and assuring equalitarian returns to those working <Plato’s aristocratic communism><the communism of the early church groups>”] The definition goes on to suggest: “a classless society, a ruling government that essentially controls individuality.”
Now, the problem associated with all of these four organizational systems, of which one is an economic system, is that they involve humanity; as such are lead by human beings. Because they are human systems of organization they are all therefore and forever subject to corruption!
It is interesting to us that the only, form of governance with the free exercise of one’s Faith, particularly Christianity, is the Democracy. Democracies typically embrace the concept of individual freewill whether or not all of the people in them are actually free, at the beginning of the government, or as it matures.
As truly Democratic governments typically embrace capitalistic economies, as in the case of the United States; it is notable that they are also free, as regards the Christian Faith. Yet, the Christian Faith is the antithesis of Capitalism. The First Church economic system is revealed in the Book of Acts. The Christian Faith is to be modeled by the picture presented in the form of the First Church. That picture is communal conceptually; for in its original organizational construct regarding property, it is not individual ownership of property that is the preferred  paradigm and controlling principle. Unity is the practice.
The principle is one of wholeness as a group of people as opposed to being as an individual in a state of singular separateness. The picture is of a humanity that is to be of one mind: it however, does not mean without one’s own thoughts or interests; for it means to be in sync with the other units of the Faith as an individual. The First Church is in point of fact was a Collective!
This is the principle established by the Book of Acts as we see the unfolding of the First Church. This truth is of course heresy to any American Capitalist; yet, biblically it remains a true statement. The First Church described in the Book of Act is a spiritual reality. It is also the picture of a methodology and organizational construct for the ages that is meant to be followed by the Church. This picture is of an economic system based on the principles of individual work and achievement; with a protection, sharing and caring construct that is communal organizationally.
The picture of Acts is one of work accountability, asset creation and asset sharing. Really this is quite an amazing picture of how believers are meant to live as a unit and Body of Christ; it becomes very clear if one studies the Book in this context. The Christian Faith is a quite remarkable and powerful form of human governance if remaining pure and void of corruption. Therein lays the challenge.

The following is Blog number forty-five and is part of our ongoing Racial Reconciliation in America Series. It is entitled: The Root Cause of our Divisions – The Church of America – Part Two.

RACIAL RECONCILIATION
THE ROOT CAUSE OF OUR DIVISIONS
THE CHURCH OF AMERICA
PART TWO

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.” (Book of Acts Chapter 4 verse 32 : KJV)

And so we see how the first Church functioned! Yes, it is a day for the truth to be told, and revelations are unfolding. There are so many dangers facing America in this hour, not the least of which is our polarization. Our lies hypocrisy and deceit by folk in positions of leadership get worse by the day.
Beloved, one of those great dangers in these latter days of this planet’s existence is that truth is believed as radicalism! Truth is seen and painted as some nutty voice of dissent by those in control of communications. Truth is the great change agent for good, for truth is of God and lies are of the spirit of the Anti-Christ.
If truth were to care which truth doesn't, it would be about itself. If it did care, truth would care only about being what it is: authentic, which often means to be contrary to belief. We contend that truth cares not about opinion or belief. What truth abhors is opinion for opinion all too often seeks to modify truth for the purpose of some human agenda.
One of the sad realities of life is that we truly live and must function every day between the truth and a lie. It is a struggle to understand what is actually real. Folk in leadership positions in every institution that matters say one thing and are found to by lying and without any conscience or consequence tell yet another lie. Or they simply say that they misspoke or were “inarticulate” in their speaking.  The truth is that they said what they meant, got caught in the wrongness of their speaking and try to lie their way out.
When competition with another leader is the absolute wrong choice what do our leaders do? Instead of unity for common purpose they compete! All too often we curse more than we bless; we continually miss our opportunities for collective goodwill that is the underpinning of human unity unto good purpose.
The very idea of collaboration is anathema today. Some Oligarchs like Charles Koch refer to collective engagement as “Collectivism” in an attempt to stigmatize a togetherness, mutual understanding; engagement in the improvement of our common welfare. To make unity of purpose, sound like Communism. God forbid such rubbish! When it is convenient for their bluster some not only invoke the U.S. Constitution, they speak of it as modeled after Holy Scripture and the Divine. Nothing is more “Collectivist” than the early Church community as they operated in a Divine calling and purpose!
Many of us, called Americans saying that we are also a Christian actually hate the lives that we are living. We often do not know or understand just how to make things different; for many are very often living a lie.
We make critical decisions every four years based on lies that we choose to believe and foolishly we expect different outcomes that are made impossible because of the decisions that we have made, which negatively impact on our lives. We contend that God generally allows the human being to get what we deserve.
What people do is make the same wrong decisions and choices again and again, considering the wrong information and not knowing the meaningfully correct questions to ask. We sow the exact same seed in thought and action and this seed can only produce the same kind of harvest.
By not understanding the truth that every seed of choice has the effect of changing our reality of life, we put a limitation on positive change. Not being in touch with our individually sown seeds and their impact on our own future, our children’s future, and the future of unrelated human beings, we put a limitation on our personal growth and miss a new and better way of life. Like unified sheep going over a cliff we reap the rewards for failed leadership that we put in their position and we choose to follow. Instead of changing them we keep them. Their lies have put us in a slumber of apathy from which we must awaken. WAKE UP AMERICA!
Perhaps there is no greater example of this than how we choose our Presidents, Governors, Senators, and Representatives in Congress who establish public policy that affect our daily lives. A Political Class chosen to lead based on race, cultural bias and on divisions having nothing whatsoever to do with delivering change unto those who most need change and who are the very people that make the wrong choices to get that need met.
People who cry and moan about a status of living caused by decisions that have been made purely based on a vote that is within a comfort zone of culture, when actually their condition is their true cultural reality. In most cases this reality is the exact same as those whose color may be different while their living standard is the same. This is truly an amazing event in America. The stupidity is the competition.
The role that the Church of America has played in the political game of late is partly responsible for the desperate state that this nation is in today, particularly as it relates to the conditions of the working poor. Things must change in America, beginning with the Church.
Better it is that the leaders of the mainline denominations in America get on the television in a unified press conference and challenge our national leaders to change the way we do business. Time for the competition to stop; it is time for some good ole’ government collectivist First Church Christian conduct in public policy creation and implementation.
Better it is that we recognize the truth that in America it is the Federal Government not the State Government that produces change which positively affects the live of the general population. For specific populations like Black and Brown folk there is no hope in some State Governments. There can be no better example of this truth than what is happening in the Healthcare Movement.
It is time for the leadership of the Church to put an end to the debate by doing what is right. Stand up for those for whom Jesus Christ has declared as our charge! The poor the sick the widow the orphan the captive; by golly why not help the rich by telling them the truth – they are missing out on their eternity with their current self obsessed and greedy conduct!

The following is Blog number forty-four and is part of our ongoing Racial Reconciliation in America Series. It is entitled: The Root Cause of our Divisions – The Church of America – Part One.

RACIAL RECONCILIATION
THE ROOT CAUSE OF OUR DIVISIONS
THE CHURCH OF AMERICA
PART ONE
[The following material is taken directly from the book Become Perfect 2007©.]

A root cause, of our divisions in America, has to do with the contentious wrangling: within our institutions that grapple with change; those institutions that should represent stability! This is particularly true in the Church of America; in all levels of governance! What are the principal divisions within the Church of America? They include, but certainly are not limited to the following:
Courage and fidelity to the truth of the Gospel, has left many of the pulpits in our Churches! There are numerous mainline denominations of the Christian Faith; within these denominations there are variances as it relates to the interpretation of Holy Scripture. As a result inconsistent interpretations cause divisions within the Body of Christ, and produce many of the challenges to faith. Our young folk don't know what to believe and what Bible to purchase there is so much variance!
The historical role of the Protestant Church of America was more than complicit, in the original sin of Slavery in America. The segregation of the Church was an action of White Protestants in their exclusion of Blacks in their worship experience. This established a long lasting reality of separation and division within the Body of Christ, along racial and doctrinal lines. This division has carried forth to this current hour.
Lies in Bible interpretation by White leaders of many Protestant Churches, gave a level of legitimacy to terrorist organizations like: the Ku Klux Klan based on a Theology, of White Supremacy. This resulted in maintaining the Jim Crow Laws of segregation and disenfranchisement of the Black race post Slavery Reconstruction of the South.
Even today, the KKK operates in America; along with organizations like it possessing the same agenda of White supremacist bigotry. They are never denounced by the mainline Church. If and when the leaders of every mainline denomination hold a national press conference for the sole purpose of denouncing White Supremacy and the KKK; beginning with and led by the Southern Baptists Convention – well to this we say what a great day that would be!
The White Protestant Church was complicit in maintaining a Jim Crow philosophy of separation; its administration and in the suppression of the Black Civil Rights Movement. Many preachers were also complicit in the justification of American Slavery. Yet, it should not be forgotten that many White preachers also helped to end Slavery and participated in Civil Rights progress!
The point is that Church history contributes to the segregation of the Church of America today, and our history is a gross sin and a blemish on the Church! There are many leaders today in the Church, who are White, and who agree with this concern; they are today ready and willing to do something about it. Many are indeed doing something about this! Praise God for their beloved souls. Unfortunately many are not mainline denominational but rather nondenominational churches in our judgment. We pray this to change and a fully integrated worship reality becomes the norm not the exception.
There are others within the Church of America, who in their ignorance and self-righteousness, look upon the condition of Black America with limited compassion, and reflecting on history, foolishly say that Blacks should: “Just get over it.” This is not something that they have or would ever say to any survivor, or the progeny of the Jewish Holocaust; for they let no one forget their history of suffering! Nor should they! We contend that forgiveness of Slavery in the heart of Black folk sets Black folk free and is in order; yet, we must contend further that there is a process associated with this getting over it thing. We are persuaded that Slavery and Jim Crow is something that Blacks should never forget or allow White folk to ever forget! With a quick and ready response Black folk must be vigilant in the face of all manner of race baiting and racism.
There must be a process in which both White and Black America engage in unified participation: to indeed “get over it!” Black America did not arrive at its current condition alone! No, this condition has happened through the continued assistance of White Americans, within and outside of the Church of America. There is no greater force of White privilege, than that which exists within the Church of America.
We contend that a continuation of the sin of racism that exists within the Body of Christ the Church makes it impossible to “just get over it.” Can one just get over that in which one continues to suffer? No, everyday suffering in conditions of poverty, inequality of wealth and asset creation; a continual battle to achieve equal standing as a citizen; having to prove your right to vote, these among other insults makes it impossible to “just get over it!”
The White branch of the Church of America holds no national press conference in protest! What should they hold a press conference to protest? How about one that demands a change in public policy that seeks to change the reality that a whole race of people has a level of unemployment that is forever double that of White folk! That would be such a good start.
Yes some questions should be asked by the leadership of every mainline denomination at this national press conference: "How do you just get over what continues to cause this unemployment and asset development deficit between Blacks and Whites? What are we going to do to change the education gap, teacher pools and inferior facilities between Black and Whites? Why do we do things that make it difficult for people to vote when there is little proof of voter fraud? Why do Black folk continue to worry about their rights to vote? What are we going to do as a united people; to end inequality that exists in every form between our races?"
On a broad basis, the Church of America from its beginning until this current day has exhibited a segregated reality within the pulpits and the pews! This must be seen as what it is: the single most important and principal source of our divisions in America. A segregated Church is a divided nation! The Church hour is famously known as the most segregated hour of the week throughout America. But there are wonderful signs that this can all be changed in this current hour of a corrected Church of America.
In all racial groups the failure of our leadership within the Church of America: to produce unity within the Body; more than anything else maintains our divisions in America. We contend therefore that it must be within the Church of America that unity must come forth. This must begin with our leadership in the pulpits and the pews. Change that is witnessed throughout the nation as we come together as a Church of America; sharing our worship of Jesus Christ, is the single most powerful way to lead the nation forward unto Racial Reconciliation.

The following is Blog post number forty-three in the ongoing Racial Reconciliation in America Series. It is entitled: Rebuild Greenwood Avenue Nationwide.

RACIAL RECONCILIATION
REBUILD GREENWOOD AVENUE
NATIONWIDE

One of the best kept secrets of White history in America; a great travesty of the government post Civil War and during the Jim Crow era, is the event known as the Tulsa Riot of 1921. Unless something new has been reported since I read the Tulsa Riot Report some years ago, the only reparations paid were to the hardware store owner; a White man, who was reimbursed for the bullets used by the KKK during the riot!
Why no one has done a MADE FOR TV movie about this TERRORIST ATTACK has always been of interest to me. This was a Klan orchestrated attack. The Ku Klux Klan remains a legal organization in America! The Klan's activity against Black folk historically is known to be rooted in terror.
When you hear the words "The Klan" you think White hatred of Black folk! The travesty is that the State, meaning neither the federal government nor the state government intervened for Black protection, or for their rebuilding effort.
This is why for Black folk it seems that terrorism against Black folk is okay in the eyes of the government. White folk in charge of the Tulsa city government at the time were thought to be members of the Klan as many people in that State were. City police did not come to the aid of the Greenwood Avenue residents. At the time Oklahoma was known to have one of the largest Klan populations, estimated to be from 1-3 million folk depending on who you believe!
For this cause Black folk must reunify as a people spiritually if not physically. One need not live next door to care! Proximity is not a necessary demand in the consideration for unity of purpose in Black progress. Black folk can stop hating and killing one another; focus on righteous common cause demonstrated by a togetherness and support of one another!
Common cause for Black folk must become the Black refrain and White folk need to join the course and sing:
YES WE CAN
BECAUSE ONCE WE DID
WE CAN BUILD AGAIN
WE FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT
WE STAND FOR THE GOOD
WE BUILD TOGETHER
A NEW GREENWOOD
ACROSS A NATION
AND EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD
Yes Black folk and White folk must reconcile. Let it also be that the work of a Black economic common cause becomes part of our efforts. Racial Reconciliation in America is more than a call for an end to interracial animus. Yea, it is also a call for the desired result of changing the poverty condition that Black folk face everyday in America; for this poverty, is a matter of Black economics.
There must become an economic component in the rallying cry for racial justice and reconciliation. In the days ahead, we contend that economic considerations will become a stumbling block in the reconciliation quest. This economic stumbling block must not be overlooked or avoided, no head on, it must be met and burst asunder.
The plight of Black folk will change when the psyche of America changes generally around the truth that the propaganda of Black folk as simply a dangerous inferior and slothful people is a lie straight from the pit of hell! Like any folk Black folk will of course protect themselves and attempt to secure their own interest.
As a race of people Black folk are neither slothful nor inferior but rather triumphant in the face of great barriers hardship and challenges. The greatest challenge for Black folk is and has always been to overcome the power of separation and isolation as it is attached to racism.
An industrious people, Black folk have always overcome both separation and isolation. When Black folk have been separated and isolated unto themselves; in America, not being deterred by White racism what is shown is that Greenwood Avenue is the result. The success is what is hated! When left to thrive Black folk always find a way to excel.

The problem is the jealousy and envy that comes as a result of Black achievement. The industrious nature and creative work of God within Black folk is a powerful thing. The devil has always recognized the greatness, power and fearlessness of Black folk. This can be seen in his unrelenting efforts to chain and defeat the human spirit of the Black race.
Well, in this effort the devil shall never succeed for God Almighty is on the side of right!
