The following is Blog post number forty-two. It is entitled: Wake up America!

WAKE UP AMERICA!

In Western Civilization leadership functions generally: as leadership chosen, rather than leadership dictatorial. Dictatorial leadership is typically done at the end of a gun while chosen leadership is acquired at the ballot box. The electorates i.e., the people who vote, confer upon those that they have chosen to lead them: the responsibility of making decisions on their behalf – to in fact lead the electorate.

Leadership is an action that requires making decisions. The electorates suffer under or thrive because of the decisions made by their elected leaders. It is a “chicken or the egg” kind of discussion as one considers fault when pondering the state of affairs regarding the electorate. Some could say that the condition of the electorate is a result of their own bad choices. This is of course true.

Some could say that the electorate has at times been hoodwinked and bamboozled; in other words deceived when they voted for their leaders. Of course this is also true. If for their own selfish reasons unknown to the electorate, the elected leader has not followed through: not done what they promised that they would do, well then it is clear that a deception has occurred.

Having laid out these principles what can we say of our lawgivers as well as all others who are in positions of responsibility to lead the peoples of the land? Here are just some of the problems faced by the citizens of America today:

• Racial and cultural tension and divisions of all kind do exist.
• Financial confusion: some say one thing others say the opposite.
• Unequal treatment in society based on race and gender.
• War weariness is real and international threats have not abated.
• Poverty is on the rise among all racial groups.
• Violence is on the upswing among young folk.
• Education is on the decline with achievement gaps on the rise.
• Our judicial system from top to bottom is in the throws of corruption.
• Government on all levels struggles under the weight of corruption.
• Our Church suffers from corruption falsity and ignorance.
• Every institution established for the purposes of the people fails us.

What is our problem? Clearly we have a leadership problem in every American institution; whether it is: business education religious governmental judicial financial, our nation cries out for something better! Even our institutions of marriage and family are weakened under the strain of irresponsible conduct in this nation. Things are just not right with America!

We contend that we suffer under the weight of lies and deceit at all levels and in every institution. Hypocrisy ignorance greed and sloth are more common than is goodness purpose and a care for the common welfare.

As a nation we show no real care for our children and their future as we saddle them with debt just to learn so they may earn a living. Our old folk only care about old folk, while the mortality of our infants is a national disgrace; that is if we gave a care about being disgraced. But we do not seem to care. Don't touch my taxes or my medicare is the cry of the old! While the schools be damn.

No the plain truth is that we need to awaken from our slumber of irresponsibility and arise with good judgment unto the spirit of our accountability. Our future is for our young and with every level of our humanity we must arise.

As citizens of America let us begin to care about one another one by one! Let our voices arise unto the call of change before it is too late for change to take affect.

Yea, beloved old folk change calls out unto us all saying: you can do better today than you did yesterday for your young. Change calls out: awaken from your sleepwalk for the cliff is very near! Change cries unto us all: seize the reins and pull back the momentum of your current direction for death is at the end of this trail. Pull back old folk in America. Pull back!

Awaken from your slumber young America for the Oligarchy has put you to sleep using lies propaganda deceit and downright trickery. They say one thing; they mean another and then they lie about their original thought.

Yea, young folk this for the purpose of your confusion and the creation of your apathy. Intending to put you to sleep the Oligarchy have done just that by confusion. Causing you to believe that there is nothing that can be done. That there is nothing that you the young can do.

They have profited from your failures to care enough about this earth of your responsibility. In our irresponsibility as the old and your protectors we have failed you and this earth. Yea, Oligarchy profit is the motive but destruction is the fate and not just for this land. All the waters the hills and the mountains shall suffer if we continue in our slumber. Wake up America.

Wake up young folk unto the responsibility of your rights and your privilege. Do not be irresponsible in this season. VOTE!
